Mary C. Frances

Mary pastored three ELCA congregations in the suburbs of Chicago and then served for seven years as the Associate Director for New Congregations at the ELCA churchwide offices. Mary is an entrepreneur at heart having created a bereavement program during her hospital ministry, opened a yoga studio ministry in 2010 and started Frances Consulting & Coaching in 2016. Taking a holistic approach to coaching and consulting, Mary believes that everyone is creative, resourceful and whole and there is hope for the church if we can let go of what was and embrace what can be.

A graduate of National Louis University and Chicago Theological Seminary, Mary works as a professional coach and consultant with congregations and denominations looking to address the changing world around them. She is also the executive director of The FaithX Project, a data grounded consulting company dedicated to helping congregations survive and thrive in challenging times.

Mary lives in Naperville, IL with her husband, Kent, who is a holistic chiropractor and functional medicine physician.
